From monthly checklists to downloadable documents to topical videos, Roadmap to AEP is designed to walk you through the complexities of this year’s enrollment season. In the past few years, AEP has been a relatively calm period, with little movement between plans. Now the CMS Final Rule, the Inflation Reduction Act, and new requirements of carriers are all disrupting the Medicare landscape, and are playing a role in how agents need to discuss AEP options with clients.
Begin Your Prep Work Now
We normally see about 20% of Medicare beneficiaries shopping for plans during AEP, but this year that number is expected to jump to nearly 70%. With more people than ever projected to be reaching out to experts such as yourself just before, and during, the annual enrollment period, it will be an outstanding opportunity to grow your business and lock in clients that will turn to you year after year for help with their insurance needs.
Roadmap to AEP gives you the tools you need to plan, reach out to existing clients and have the information to speak with potential new clients. Look for things such as a Prep Playbook, a monthly checklist and letters you can send to clients to gather information. Be sure to access the page frequently over the coming months. We’ll be adding additional content and videos throughout AEP.

AI is here to stay but does it come with a dark side?
Deepfakes are synthetic audio, image, or video content created using advanced machine learning techniques, particularly deep learning algorithms trained on a large dataset of real audio/video files.
These algorithms can analyze and learn the patterns, movements, and characteristics of a person's face, voice, and mannerisms. By mapping and superimposing this data onto a different audio or video, deepfakes can produce highly realistic artificial content that appears genuine to the human eye and ear.
While initially used for more innocuous purposes like movie visual effects or satirical videos, deepfakes have raised significant concerns due to their potential for spreading misinformation, defamation, and fraud on a massive scale.
